With sincere thanks to a wonderful, warm crowd of women and men who attended our Cinema for the Soul event last night in St Ives. We appreciate your effort and time to support the couples in our community struggling with infertility.
Thank you once again to Nikki Sher and Lindi Stein our dedicated North Shore team who made the event possible.The documentary ‘One More Shot’ that was screened last night told a story of acceptance, survival, love, determination and family. It was a heartwarming and gut-wrenching, revealing the joys and pitfalls of the quest to become parents often under the most adverse circumstances.
We are always humbled to hear those speak first hand about their personal journey to parenthood. Thank you to Rebecca Havas who shared her deeply moving story with us after the film. There is never shame in sharing, it is the most powerful way to remove the stigma of a topic that is simply not discussed enough.
