On Sunday 13 November, AJFN co-hosted the launch of Birkat Emunah with The Eden Center and Australian Friends of Shaare Zedek. Birkat Emunah is a resource, produced by The Eden Center for people in our community facing infertility and loss.
Dr Naomi Grumet and Dr Jordana Hyman, both visiting from Israel, explored the topic: Fertility: A Public or Private Concern?
Dr Naomi Grumet is the Director of The Eden Center. Dr Grumet’s doctoral research investigated identity formation through mikveh practice, and her research is the catalyst upon which The Eden Center was founded.
Dr Jordana Hyman is an OBGYN Fertility Specialist at Shaare Zedek Hospital, Jerusalem. A graduate of Melbourne’s Monash University Medical School, Dr Hyman completed her OBGYB residency at Shaare Zedek Hospital . Dr Hyman has worked intensely in the field of IVF and is active in both research and teaching.
