AJFN Committee Chair - Marketing

Kate Samowitz is a Senior Marketing Executive with over 15 years of diverse experience across global consumer brands (Automotive, Financial Services) and most recently working in the Jewish Community as Lead Project Manager of The Shabbat Project Sydney. I have extensive experience in building brands and solving marketing & business problems in complex environments requiring creativity, resourcefulness and collaboration.Successful in leading and mentoring internal teams and agencies, I am proficient in managing the complete process; from developing marketing strategy right through to campaign implementation and review.

My pathway to becoming a mum was long and arduous with it taking over 4 years of Fertility treatments and countless Medical & IVF specialists to start our family!.Whilst we are now extremely fortunate to have our 2 IVF miracles (5.5 yrs & 4 yrs old), I know first hand the significant physical, emotional and financial toll being challenged by infertility can deliver, let alone the impact on your identity, relationships, career and marriage. I believe the more we can raise awareness and change how our community views IVF and infertility, the better we can support each other in achieving our dreams of building families.

I have been involved in AJFN since 2013 in various capacities, from attending AJFN events during my Fertility journey to volunteering as an event co-ordinator and more recently as part of the AJFN Support program.
